A safe, clean exit for a community landmark, and a clean site for what came next

1,200+ housing inspections across three regions of Canada.
Condition and life-safety inspections of occupied on-reserve homes, rehabilitation scopes for bidding, and progress validation on new builds under CMHC's On-Reserve Non-Profit Housing Program.
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s On-Reserve Non-Profit Housing Program helps First Nations communities build, purchase, rehabilitate and manage rental housing, and requires inspections to be submitted under the program.
Contracted by OZHI LP First Nations Professional Services, our building services team completed comprehensive housing inspections for condition and life safety on more than 1,200 on-reserve residential units. For occupied homes, inspections covered the building envelope, crawlspaces and basements, heating and ventilation, plumbing, electrical, kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. We wrote work scopes for homes requiring rehabilitation so that bids could be solicited, and completed progress advance validation inspections on new builds to confirm compliance with contract requirements.
Members of our team visited sites across Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Saskatchewan between the winter of 2016 and the winter of 2018.
